When values feel early vs late
My auto-green keeps missing. Which way do I move the value?
Early → raise the value. Late → lower the value. That rule covers every auto-green page. If sensible values still brick, look at the jumpshot.
On this page
Every auto-green page in the yew2K NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script follows one rule:
Early → raise the value. Late → lower the value.
The value is how long the script holds Square before releasing. A longer hold releases later; a shorter hold releases earlier.
Which pages this covers
| Page | Trigger | Range | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| Auto-Green (standstill) | Click R3, stick centred | 300–900 ms, 5 ms steps | 660 ms |
| Left Fade | R2 + tap L1 | 100–1200 ms, 5 ms steps | 870 ms |
| Right Fade | R2 + R3 | 100–1200 ms, 5 ms steps | 820 ms |
| Catch Shoot | D-pad Up | 100–1200 ms, 5 ms steps | 660 ms |
| Step Back | D-pad Down | 100–1200 ms, 5 ms steps | 660 ms |
| QS Shot | after a Quick Stop | 100–1200 ms, 5 ms steps | 660 ms |
Move in 5 ms steps: hold Cross/A and tap Up or Down on the page. (Standstill, listed on its own page, is the same thing as Auto-Green: 100–1200 ms, default 660.)
Step Delay is different
Step Delay (20–1200 ms, default 150) is not a shot hold. It is the delay before the step-back auto-green starts shooting. Faster step backs use a lower value; slower step backs a higher value.
Button Rhythm is not an auto-green
Button Rhythm does not time the shot for you. It turns a button shot into a rhythm shot by pulling the right stick down at the software level and flicking it up when you release. It makes the green window bigger, reduces the shot-contest penalty and improves consistency. There is no early/late rule and no formula: try fades and stand-stills at each value in online MyCourt and keep what feels best. Range 8–80 ms in 1 ms steps, default centre 35; yew runs 23.
Where to test
Online MyCourt, then Rec. Offline MyCourt timing differs from online. Shot Feedback: All Shots is one of the required in-game settings.
If sensible values still brick
The jumpshot is almost always the problem. yew's guidance:
- Fast, straight releases give the widest green windows.
- Recommended bases: Oscar Robertson, Steph Curry, Damian Lillard. Releases Oscar/Oscar or Curry/Curry. Speed max. Blend 50/50 if you mix.
- Avoid slow bases (Kobe, MJ), exaggerated wind-ups and hitchy animations.
- Prioritise shooting attributes (90+ three) over dunk packages.
And keep expectations where yew puts them: good values should have you at about 70% with auto-green. It will not work in 100% of situations.
